CMAT Exam: Everything You Need to Know

CMAT is an MBA entrance examination at the national level and the test is designed to assess the candidate’s data interpretation skills, aptitude in numeracy, logical abilities, vocabulary skills and English language comprehension, innovativeness, entrepreneurial and General knowledge skills. The CMAT exam is conducted in Computer Based Mode and it takes place in a single day and in two sessions. All of these shifts last 3 hours where candidates are required to complete 100 questions in the respective shift.

As many as 1300 MBA colleges in India use the CMAT scores. Few examples of the recognized institutions include KJ Somaiaya, JBIMS, BIMTech, Prin LN Welingkar Institute, Great Lakes Institute of Management, and AmitSeema University.

CMAT means Common Management Admission Test. Most of the Institutes offer PGDM and MBA programs and those students can get admitted to the institutes based on their performance in the CMAT Exam.

It is an exam that is under the management of the National Testing Agency (NTA) for the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

CMAT means Current Management and Accountancy Test which is conducted once a year and generally in the May month.

Eligibility Criteria for CMAT 2025:

• The students willing to appear for the CMAT 2025 must clear a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from any University/ Institute.
• The minimum length of the bachelor’s degree has to be prescribed to at least three years.
• Pertaining to the age of the candidates, there is no limitation regarding the age bar to get a seat in CMAT 2025.
• This also applies to the final year Bachelor Degree students who intend to write the end semester examinations or any other student still in the university who intends to write the CMAT. For one to be approved for the post graduate program the following are the necessities; the person has to have a bachelor's degree.
• This means that for one to get into any of the participating institutes, they have to produce the CMAT 2025 score card.

Application Process for CMAT 2025:

The general procedure for taking up the CMAT 2025 application is normally done in the month of January. It is held within the internet using the official web-site of the National Testing Agency (NTA).

Before they can sit for the exam, the candidates are required to sit for the CMAT which is conducted and administered by the NTA. This should contain correct academic details of the learner together with their contact information.

The applicant has to upload clear scanned copies of relevant documents like photograph, signature, as well as the category certificate along with the form.

The application fee for CMAT can be remitted through an online payment system either through Credit Cards/Debit Card Net Banking or UPI.

The period of Application for the CMAT examination also remains open till a certain number of days, generally 70 days, and the candidate has to fill the form till this period only
